Math At Home

This just in: Schools will be closed indefinitely. All educators and parents are waiting anxiously to find out for how long. This came as a surprise and shock to all. The main priority is health and safety. The words "Stay Home" have been displayed on social media countless times.

I am here to answer the question - What can I do for my child to make sure that they are still having an educational experience at home?

There are countless websites and resources that can help your child at any grade level! This is by far my favourite!

Cross reference the Ontario Mathematics Curriculum and investigate what your child is learning before the school closure.

You can make a game out of it! As a career tutor I implemented the "Math is fun" strategy. I printed out a few work sheets (do not fret, you can print out the answers too) and then I set a timer! Students were eager to beat their previous score when handed a different version of the same worksheet.

Try it at home! And comment below on your experience :)
